I don’t like entry level systems. I was disappointed to find that is is relay based, like the MRC which I am using currently. ,k100 normally occurs if I decide to change locos on the cartridges.

Railroad Line Forums – LENZ LK Reverse Loop Module

Community Forum Software by IP. I have tried adjusting the potentiometer on the LK, but it makes no difference. I was doing a little more research on the LK and discovered that it is a 2. When it reaches the other break it goes straight through.

I don’t care for the Digitrax reverser. All times are GMT There was another thread a month or so back which involved PSXs Haven’t wired it, but Loys web site as a 16 page information sheet taht can be down loaded. Thanks Andi; your last sentence made me think again.

Thanks, Edited by – R. It is currently on the default setting of 3.

In the Lenz catalog it sayes 3. Without cookies we would not be able to tailor your content.

I currently have lk1100 booster doing the reversing duties and it works fine. I have insulated both rails of the cross over track at each turnout where they leave effectively isolating the entire centre crossover. Can you adjust the speed with which the PSX-1 reacts to slow it down a little?

My question is this. It’s still at the standard setting and I can hear it click when it shorts. Several functions may not work.

I haven’t used any other reversers, so can’t lebz abut that. The only problem is that as I do not have a fiddle yard but use a section of the reversing loop inside the operating well as a cartridge exchange system, any short will shut down the whole layout. I will let you know what happens.

I too use PSX’s but mine were bought some time ago. I would like a little input on this little guy. I’ve forgotten my password.

Edited by GoingUnderground, 28 September – The LK was relay based and has long since been replaced by the LK which uses solid state electronics. I have an oval of track with a crossover diagonally across the centre. The loco is a Bachmann Shay.

My layout ‘Crewlisle’ uses the Lenz system. Sorry, about the spelling. These are not used to track individual usage or tailor advertising content. Not a sound or lj100 when locos go around the reversing loop.

If you set it any higher then it will never trip as your DCC system will trip first as it will reach its limiting current before the PSX It is kicking in before the LK can change the polarity. Bob, Everything I’ve found about the LK indicates that it has a 5 amp capacity, including Tony’s comparison.

Reversing Loop Problem

Please log in to reply. Have any of you guys tried using one of these with a Digitrax system.

Please post any additional info that you have come across or an alternative if you’ve found one. I have a question concerning the Lenz LK reverse loop controller. If there is an Australian reader who knows the lena, can they PM me with their phone number so I can ring them please. I rather use a Digitrax booster than one of their “reversers”.
